OIL TANK SWEEPS
Know What's Below
Get the full scope of your grounds with the addition of an oil tank sweep. During the oil tank sweep, two forms of sub-surface detection equipment are used to determine if there are any metal anomalies present on the property. We also check for any oil lines, or previous penetrations. An additional report will be provided with the findings.
RADON TESTING
Is Your Home Safe?
Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell,or taste. Radon affects 1 out of 6 homes and is responsible for 21,000 lung cancer deaths per year. It is found in rocks, water, and soil. Radon can be released into old or new homes through well water, the home’s foundation, or building materials.
While radon testing is not required when getting a home inspection, it is highly recommended as an added safety precaution. Radon testing can be added to your home inspection giving you the peace of mind that you and your family are living in a safe environment free of radon.
WOOD DESTROYING INSECTS
Included in all inspections
Wood Destroying insects, such as termites, carpenter ants, beetles, and carpenter bees can cause extensive damage to your home and its structure. During the home inspection, any evidence of WDI will be noted in your inspection report, along with an additional WDI report (as requested).
MOLD & AIR QUALITY TESTING
See what's in your air
We are able to capture images from the air in your home, allowing you to actually see what is in the air you’re breathing! This testing includes surface and air quality sampling. Once samples are taken (same day) they will be processed and in 3-4 business days a separate Mold & Air Quality Report will be provided including airborne test results, mold elevation levels, surface test results, and fungal classifications. (Note: Any evidence of moisture/mold/mildew will be mentioned in the home inspection report for further evaluation at no charge. This additional fee is for sample testing and results.)
